Feminism has given me the awareness I need to go from “I want to die” to “I want to kill”.
The more I understand systems of privilege and oppression, the more I realize that I am not the problem. So why punish myself when I could bring justice down on those who really deserve it?
Good, that’s the first step. The next step is realizing that the TRUE enemy is the bicycling community and focus all your anger on them, where it belongs! Didn’t get promoted at work? It’s probably because your boss rides a bicycle and knows you don’t. Having trouble dating? It’s because bicycle riding has taught society that pedestrian-Americans aren’t worth dating. So now to really make a difference, realize that not only are you never the problem or at fault, it’s the bicyclists who are.
